Energy fills the universe.  It flows through us and all around us.

Energy is often perceived as something mystical or imaginary;  the body's energy is as real and scientific as your muscles, bone, and body systems.

Emotional tensions contract the body and disrupt the flow of our

life-giving energy rivers or pathways, leading to disharmony

and showing up as discomforts of the body and mind.

First a whisper, then a scream.

A Deeper Look into Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a melding together of ancient concepts for harmonizing the energy flows within you for emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being.  It offers the hands acting as “jumper cables” to gently place upon specific “energy sites’ without pressure or rubbing to clear and balance the energy flow accelerating the body’s innate wisdom to heal and thrive.

It is affectionately called 'Jin Shin'.

Jin Shin harmonizes all bodily systems - by simply addressing the underlying source, which is the flow of energy that supplies life force to all these systems.

It is deeply integrating on all levels--emotional, physical, mental and spiritual.

“What you seek is seeking you”.  -Rumi

Even though its roots run deep and complex, Jin Shin is surprisingly simple to do.  Jin Shin can be used on anyone, all circumstances and every age.  Rather helping a serious illness or as preventive aid, we can do no harm.  It gives us what we need in the moment.

No unpleasant detox symptoms

Within this energy medicine system there are 26 ‘energy sites’ found on the left and right sides of the body, which are mirror images, creating 52 sites.  These zones are overlaid with a number system and supports us with the language and reflective messages of the body.

      For example, balancing:

#7  Brings peacefulness, boosts the immune system, eases headaches and helps all critical conditions.  Integrates lessons learned.

#12   Eases neck, shoulder and hip tension. We relinquish control and surrender into the Flow of Life with gratitude, trust, acceptance and change.

#14  Improves digestion and assimilation of nutrients while slowing us down to feel nourished by our experiences.

#15  Awakens joy, creativity and laughter.  Strengthens our heart and circulation.  Opens the hips.

#19  Opens the chest and back promoting leadership of our Life, setting boundaries with love not worry or guilt.

#21  Frees us from mental chatter allowing a feeling of security which energizes us.

#23  Mary Burmeister said, “Soothes the agitation underlying our Destiny.” Enhances adrenal, kidney and sexual rejuvenation.

High Touch Jin Shin Text 1

Energy travels in pathways, along these “Fields of Transformation” creating Major Flows, Number Sequences, Organ Flows, the Depth Flows and more. [The ancients have known of these pathways for thousands of years and modern science has mapped and documented with the use of radioisotopes].

The ‘Energy Sites’ and Flows have “quick releases” or shortcuts to offer immediate wellness and feeling good.  Classes taught in a simple, accessible way to all.

**The practitioner is not the “do-er”. There is no channeling, pushing, or giving of energy to the receiver. Energy is simply being balanced within you.

Jin Shin Jyutsu acknowledges when an attitude such as Worry, Fear, Anger, Sadness or ‘Trying To’ has contracted the body, congesting the energy flow, “accumulations” occur, particularly at these 52 sites.  When energy is stagnant or turbulent, it hinders energetic nourishment to the surrounding tissues, eventually disrupting the tissues and organs along the entire pathway and beyond. Much like a constricted or raging river causes the river bottom and surrounding banks to lose nutrients and become less fertile or possibly dry up, our bodies present with minor becoming major symptoms alerting us to pay attention to ways we may be abusing ourselves with unexpressed emotion, thoughts, food choices, toxin exposure or over-DO-ing.

Rest   Restore  Renew  Rewire

Overtime, the gentle non-invasive touch of Jin Shin Jyutsu soothes our nervous system, resolving the influence of shock and trauma.  A calm inner space is cultivated, allowing us to recognize and LET GO of resistance, ACCEPT where we are, SURRENDER into BE-ing and CREATE the life we want.  We come home to ourselves.
